Registrar Corp, an industry leader in FDA compliance services, has recently acquired certain assets of K Squared International, LLC (dba US Agent Services), of Ada, Michigan. K Squared has provided FDA regulatory services, including U.S. Agent services, for their worldwide customer base of food, drug, and medical device companies.
This is Registrar Corp’s third acquisition overall and second this year, after recently acquiring Registration and Licensing Systems, Inc. “We see this as a unique opportunity to expand our customer base and provide both foreign and domestic businesses with the best available FDA compliance assistance on the market,” said David Lennarz, Registrar Corp’s President of Business Development and Operations. Registrar Corp recently completed an expansion of its Hampton, Virginia based headquarters and is prepared to continue to offer the same great service to all of K Squared’s customers.
“We can offer our new clients the same great regulatory assistance they are used to, but with an even more expansive set of services available to them to match the many new rules and regulations the FDA has made in the past few years”, Lennarz continues. Registrar Corp offers registration and U.S. Agent services, as well as compliance monitoring software, label reviews, detention assistance, listing services, and food safety-related assistance, including writing food safety plans, foreign supplier verification program plans, and mock FDA inspections.
“Registrar Corp has highly qualified employees, including food safety specialists and industry experts”, says Steven Kluting of K Squared International, LLC. “This expands the offering of expert assistance that US Agent Services prides itself on and we feel our clients are in very capable hands.” Customers will also be able to take advantage of Registrar Corp’s international presence, with 18 offices located around the world. Registrar Corp, along with its investors, Bertram Capital, continue to seek out regulatory service and software companies to grow its client base and offered services. “We aim to be the most comprehensive solution of compliance services in the industry”, says Tom Beerle, Partner at Bertram Capital. “We will continue to target additional solutions focused on the FDA as well as other US and international regulatory bodies in order to bolster our already impressive list of services for companies seeking to bring their regulated products to market.”
