Under the Food Safety Modernization Act of 2011 (“FSMA”) and the U.S. FDA Hazard Analysis and Risk-based Preventive Controls (“HARPC”) rule, certain food facilities must develop and implement written recall plans for any foods with hazards requiring a control.
