Alberta Food Processors Association (AFPA)
The Alberta Food Processors Association (AFPA) is a non-profit organization representing all segments of the food and beverage industry in the province of Alberta, Canada: growers, processors, retailers, foodservice buyers, and service suppliers. Our mission is to build the competitive advantage of our members through quality training, effective promotion, and by being the representative voice of members and the Alberta food processing industry. Whether you are a food or beverage processor, grower, or a supplier to the food processing industry, membership in AFPA will provide you and your company with the knowledge, leadership, and networking opportunities to grow your business and increase your company profile.
Association of Food and Drug Officials (AFDO)
AFDO is an international, non-profit organization that is in the forefront of streamlining and simplifying regulations by either drafting regulatory rules or by commenting on government proposals. By developing a broad base of support for new approaches, AFDO has become a recognized voice in determining the rules and shape of the regulatory playing field of the future. The consensus that AFDO develops is key to advancing uniform laws, regulations, and guidelines that result in more efficient regulation and less confusion among industry in the marketplace. AFDO develops support for its positions by interfacing with high-level regulatory officials, industry representatives, trade associations, and consumer organizations. This continues to have a significant impact on regulations at the federal, state and local level.
BBB has determined that Registrar Corp meets BBB accreditation standards, which include a commitment to make a good faith effort to resolve any consumer complaints. BBB sees trust as a function of two primary factors – integrity and performance. Integrity includes respect, ethics and intent. Performance speaks to a business’s track record of delivering results in accordance with BBB standards and/or addressing customer concerns in a timely, satisfactory manner. BBB ensures that high standards for trust are set and maintained. BBB Accreditation is an honor – and not every company is eligible. Businesses that meet our high standards are invited to join BBB. All BBB accredited businesses have agreed to live up to our Standards for Trust.
Customs Brokers and Forwarders Association of Northern California (CBFANC)
The Customs Brokers and Forwarders Association of Northern California (CBFANC) works to ensure that goods and services flow seamlessly and securely across Northern California borders. CBFANC aims to provide powerful educational initiatives to ensure that its members have the most professional and up to speed staff to serve their clients. The association hosts at least 10 educational events each year, and the events are typically CSS accredited.
Customs Brokers and International Freight Forwarders Association of Virginia (CBIFFA of VA)
Founded in May 1985, the Customs Brokers & International Freight Forwarders Association of Virginia (CBIFFA of VA) is dedicated to the cultivating closer relations between those engaged in the business of international freight forwarding and customs house brokerage as well as maintaining the ethics of the profession at their highest standard. The Association maintains a close working relationship with government agencies, the local trade community, the Ports of Virginia, and CBP to offer ongoing training for the trade.
Food & Drink Exporters Association (FDEA)
The Food & Drink Exporters Association (FDEA) is a not for profit trade organization and the only association dedicated to representing UK food and drink companies to the international buying community and the UK government. Members of FDEA benefit from access to market research, information on export opportunities, and both regional and international events.
Food and Foodstuffs Association (FFA)
Food and Foodstuffs Associations (FFA), as a non-governmental organization, represents the voice of enterprises in food, foodstuff, and beverages industry in Vietnam. FFA disseminates information on business and legal environment, market, new technology, and management practices to members through its monthly newsletter and website. FFA cooperates with international and local training institutions to organize flexible short courses best suit to members’ business. FFA acts as a bridge between members and the government. Members network to strengthen cooperative spirits among companies and to find partnership. FFA also organizes events to introduce good products of its members to society at large.
Los Angeles Customs Brokers and Freight Forwarders Association (LACBFFA)
The Los Angeles Customs Brokers and Freight Forwarders Association (LACBFFA) has represented the common business interests of Customs Brokers and Freight Forwarders as professionals in dealing with government, carriers, industry and one another since 1949. The association actively organizes and participates in seminars, workshops, conferences, and training courses aimed at furthering their members’ business objectives.
National Customs Brokers and Forwarders Association of America (NCBFAA)
Headquartered in Washington, DC, the NCBFAA represents nearly 870 member companies with 100,000 employees in international trade – the nation’s leading freight forwarders, customs brokers, ocean transportation intermediaries (OTIs), NVOCCs, and air cargo agents, serving more than 250,000 importers and exporters. Established in 1897 in New York, NCBFAA is the effective national voice of the industry. Through its various committees, counsel, and representatives, the Association maintains a close watch over legislative and regulatory issues that affect its members. It keeps them informed of these and other related issues through its weekly Monday Morning eBriefing, as well as various meetings and conferences throughout the year.
Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society (RAPS)
Members of Registrar Corp’s Management Team are members of the Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society (RAPS). RAPS is the leading international membership organization for regulatory professionals who are working to ensure the safety, effectiveness and availability of healthcare products, including medical devices, pharmaceuticals and biotechnology. RAPS supports these individuals and the regulatory profession as a whole by providing education and training, certification, professional standards, research, knowledge-sharing, publications, networking and career development opportunities, and other valuable resources; and is committed to helping its members continually develop the knowledge and skills they need to excel.
The Specialty Food Association is a thriving community of food artisans, importers and entrepreneurs who bring craft, care and joy to the distinctive foods they produce. Established in 1952 in New York, the not-for-profit trade association provides its 3,000 members in the U.S. and abroad the tools, knowledge and connections to champion and nurture their companies in an always-evolving marketplace. The Association (formerly the National Association for the Specialty Food Trade, Inc.) owns and produces the Winter and Summer Fancy Food Show, and presents the sofi Awards honoring excellence in specialty food.
The National Fisheries Institute (NFI)
The National Fisheries Institute is a non-profit organization dedicated to education about seafood safety, sustainability, and nutrition. NFI and its members are committed to sustainable management of our oceans and being stewards of our environment by endorsing the United Nations’ Principles for Responsible Fisheries. From responsible aquaculture, to a marketplace supporting free trade, to ensuring the media and consumers have the facts about the health benefits of fish and shellfish, NFI and its members support and promote sound public policy based on ground truth science.
Washington International Trade Association (WITA)
The Washington International Trade Association (WITA) is a non-profit, non-partisan organization dedicated to providing a neutral forum in the nation’s capital for the open and robust discussion of international trade policy and related issues. WITA is widely considered Washington’s premier trade forum. Among other activities, WITA hosts educational programs, provides networking opportunities, and provides professional development opportunities.
