La agencia finaliz\u00f3 cuatro de siete de las mayores reglas de la Ley de Modernizaci\u00f3n de Seguridad Alimentaria (FSMA), las cuales tiene como objetivo disminuir los casos de enfermedades transmitidas por alimentos adoptando un enfoque preventivo de la seguridad alimentaria.\u00a0 FDA tambi\u00e9n propuso regulaciones con el fin de crear conciencia en el consumidor sobre lo que est\u00e1n consumiendo, como fue la propuesta de la declaraci\u00f3n de az\u00facar a\u00f1adida en el etiquetado de alimentos.<\/p>\n<p>A continuaci\u00f3n encontrar\u00e1 mayor informaci\u00f3n sobre las medidas tomadas as\u00ed como tambi\u00e9n algunos otros avances en cuanto a las Regulaciones de la FDA para la industria alimentaria en 2015.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>4 de Junio: FDA publica lineamientos preliminares para el <a href=\"https:\/\/regstaging.wpengine.com\/2015\/06\/fda-voluntary-qualified-importer-program-vqip\/\">Programa Voluntario de Importadores Cualificados (VQIP)<\/a><\/li>\n<li>16 de Junio: FDA publica su <a href=\"https:\/\/regstaging.wpengine.com\/2015\/06\/fda-partially-hydrogenated-oils-not-gras\/\">resoluci\u00f3n final<\/a> para los Aceites Parcialmente Hidrogenados (PHOs) donde determina que no son Generalmente Reconocidos como Seguros (GRAS). PHOs son los principales causantes de grasas trans artificiales en alimentos procesados. Iniciando Junio de 2018, no ser\u00e1n permitidos productos alimenticios que contengan PHOs a menos que sean aprobados por la FDA.<\/li>\n<li>9 de Julio: FDA dispuesto a entrar a <a href=\"https:\/\/regstaging.wpengine.com\/2015\/07\/fda-canada-food-safety-recognition\/\">Food Safety Systems Recognition Arrangement<\/a> con la Agencia de Inspecci\u00f3n de Alimentos Canadiense (CFIA). El convenio implicar\u00e1 un incremento en el intercambio de informaci\u00f3n sobre seguridad alimentaria entre las dos naciones.<\/li>\n<li>24 de Julio: FDA propuso la declaraci\u00f3n del <a href=\"https:\/\/regstaging.wpengine.com\/2015\/07\/fda-proposes-dv-added-sugars\/\">porcentaje de valor diario (%DV) para az\u00facar a\u00f1adida<\/a> en etiquetado de alimentos.<\/li>\n<li>6 de Septiembre: FDA publica su regulaci\u00f3n final FSMA para controles preventivos en alimentos para consumo humano y animal. Entre otras cosas, estas reglas requieren que las instalaciones de alimentos registradas mantengan un plan de seguridad alimentaria y el monitoreo de sus proveedores.<\/li>\n<li>6 de Noviembre: FDA publica documentos gu\u00eda sobre su <a href=\"https:\/\/regstaging.wpengine.com\/2015\/11\/fda-publishes-fortification-policy-guidance\/\">pol\u00edtica de fortificaci\u00f3n.<\/a><\/li>\n<li>12 de Noviembre: FDA solicita comentarios sobre <a href=\"https:\/\/regstaging.wpengine.com\/2015\/11\/fda-requests-comments-on-labeling-food-as-natural\/\">el uso del t\u00e9rmino \u201cnatural\u201d<\/a> en el etiquetado de alimentos. Actualmente no existe una definici\u00f3n formal para este t\u00e9rmino.<\/li>\n<li>13 de Noviembre: FDA publica su regulaci\u00f3n final FSMA para el <a href=\"https:\/\/regstaging.wpengine.com\/2015\/11\/fda-releases-foreign-supplier-verification-program-fsvp-final-rule\/\">programa de verificaci\u00f3n de proveedores for\u00e1neos (FSVP)<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/regstaging.wpengine.com\/2015\/11\/fda-releases-final-fsma-rule-on-accredited-third-party-certification\/\">certificaci\u00f3n acreditada de terceros<\/a> y producci\u00f3n segura.<\/li>\n<li>18 de Noviembre: FDA propuso <a href=\"https:\/\/regstaging.wpengine.com\/2015\/11\/fda-proposes-gluten-free-labeling-rule-for-fermented-and-hydrolyzed-foods\/\">requisitos de etiquetado para productos alimenticios libres de gluten<\/a> fermentados e hidrolizados.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; La U.S. Food and Drug Aministration (FDA) tomo varias medidas dirigidas al mejoramiento de la salud del consumidor durante el 2015.
